My proximity to the world of video game has been shaping my ideals since childhood. My passion for RPG (Role Playing Game), RTS (strategy game), MOBA (multiplayer game online arena) has also nurtured my imagination. My love for this industry and my talent for drawing led me to enroll in the Technical Program of 3D Animation at the College Bois-de-Boulogne. This program enables students to touch and improve on all aspects of a 3D production, from concept art (my specialty) to lighting and compositing. I had the experience of making a complete game level and even a short animated film that made me more versatile and complete as an artist.
Since I left school, I had the opportunity to work for different indie studios. My first experience was at Wild Games Studio, Mascouche where I made my debut as a concept artist. I was then recruited by the Montreal studio By Humans to make the visual of the 'storyline' of their Invisible Kingdoms game. I then got the role of illustrator / concept artist for the design of their playing cards. In parallel with my work at Byhumans, I was approached by Eidos Montreal to make a short film for the April Fool’s prank (see home page). I also worked on a small Kickstarter project called Epic Manager where I did the initial design of the characters.
I have tried a lot of different visual styles, from very cartoon to realistic and I discovered the ability to adapt to almost any style of drawings. I also adapt to my colleagues and I can nuance my attitude depending on the mood of my team. Teamwork really shows my strength because my calm and serene attitude helps keep my team zen and focused.
